Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!
Jared is looking forward to Autopsy’s Morbidity Triumphant, and Graceless’ Chants From Purgatory:
I may hate the cover, but when a historic death metal band like Autopsy drops a new record, I always have to check back in and see what they’re up to.
I really enjoyed their last record from 2020, so I’ll be seeing what Graceless have to offer this time. Their last record was some doomy Bolt Thrower worship that was a satisfying listen.
Rutger is looking forward to Ellende’s Ellenbogengesellschaft, and Slipknot’s The End, So Far:
Just over ten years after their foundation, Ellende releases their fourth full-length, titled Ellenbogengesellschaft. The three singles released so far sound great, so I can’t wait to hear the full record.
This Friday, Slipknot release their seventh full-length to date. Their sound has matured over the years, and I’m curious to hear what they’ve done on their new record.
“The demo was better.”
