Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!
Jared is looking forward to Goatwhore’s Angels Hung from the Arches of Heaven, and Faceless Burial’s At the Foothills of Deliration:
I hadn’t even listened to Goatwhore until I saw them live with Incantation a few months ago, and they put on a fantastic show. Now I’m interested to hear what they’ve come up with.
I really enjoyed their last record, so I’m looking forward to this one. Some Australian death metal with a suble techy edge. Plus, Me Saco un Ojo doesn’t miss.
Rutger is looking forward to Illyria’s Take Me Somewhere Beautiful, and Asgrauw’s Façade:
After their previous record, The Carpathian Summit, Illyria have announced to move into a different direction. Based on the new singles, that direction seems to be more metalcore-oriented and I’m really curious to hear their songwriting in a less eclectic genre.
Dutch black metal band Asgrauw release their fifth studio album to date. I really like their earlier material, so I’m looking forward to hearing their next offering.
“The demo was better.”
