Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!
Hannes is looking forward to Eisregen’s Leblos:
The “death from Thüringen” releases his fourteenth studio record. I missed their previous album and will have to listen to both the previous one and the new one. Let’s hope they have still got it.
Leon is looking forward to Hail Spirit Noir’s Eden in Reverse:
You can count on these Greek boys and their everything-goes psychedelic black metal to deliver some solid stuff. This is their fourth album, the last one was the best they’ve done yet so let’s hope that repeats itself.
Rutger is looking forward to Protest the Hero’s Palimpsest:
PTH already sent out this record to those who preordered, and several listens it, I can already say this is their best album and Fortress/Kezia are top tier records already. PTH have nailed it out of the park and I am beyond ecstatic to have them back. This record is going to be one of my favorites of the year, easy.
Sean is looking forward to Panopticon’s Live Migration, and Vampire’s Rex:
Panopticon live? Yes Please. Austin Lunn’s music is phenomenal and I’ll take more of it any way I can get it.
Vampire isn’t gonna be breaking any nee ground on this one and that is just fine by me. They make death/thrash in a throwback way that is also able to feel fresh and modern. Vampire are sure to impress again.
“The demo was better.”
