Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!
Elderseer’s debut full-length features as much sad and contemplative doom as you can handle. It lasts a little too long for me, but has some solid riffs and vocal moments.
And on the completely opposite end of the energy spectrum sits Endorphins Lost. Loud and hectic powerviolence. The lyrics burn with anger, and the music reflects this.
A new Unique Leader deathcore EP. At this point, you either like the style or you don’t, but I can appreciate what they’re going for. A release intended to shake your bones as you listen to it.
Delightfully weird black-ish metal. The band went deep into a concept for this one, and while I didn’t get a distinct impression of what they were going for, they definitely went off the beaten path in an interesting way.
Ulver, Fellowship, Defeated Sanity, Nekus, Nepenthe
