Here are our most anticipated releases of the week!
Jared is looking forward to:
Some monumental stoner/doom out of Victoria, BC, with a gorgeous painted cover and massive, bassy riffs.
Early/mid-era Amon Amarth worship from some Polish dudes out of London. Sounds janky but charming.
A peculiar death/doom + grind blend that is guaranteed to give you whiplash.
Early death metal worship from a 21 year old Japanese kid with some surprisingly addicting moments.
Our boy James McBain is back again for his third full-length of top-tier Satanic speed metal. Hellripper is fuckin sick and this new record will not disappoint.
Nathan is looking forward to:
Some very unhappy black metal with a dark and dense atmosphere. I was expecting something more depressive given the title and cover art, but there’s some fire in here.
Crusty and energetic death metal from a band with a solid track record.
One man Saudi Arabian proggy metalcore. Some stuff on here sounds slightly off of what I would expect, but that’s what makes prog interesting.
Technical death metal from an old band making their first appearance in a decade. This has all the ingredients for disaster, but Man Must Die have made another solid record.
Ulver, Fellowship, Defeated Sanity, Nekus, Nepenthe
