Upcoming Albums

Upcoming Albums – February, 12th

Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!

Leon is looking forward to Ad Nauseam’s Imperative Imperceptible Impulse, and Emptiness’ Vide:

Ad Nauseam – Imperative Imperceptible Impulse

Is Gorguts’ Obscura one of your favorite albums of all time? Is Imperial Triumphant easy listening to you? The last Deathspell Omega album perhaphs a bit too light for your tastes? If your answers are yes and I got your new favorite band right here.

Emptiness – Vide

Standard death metal band turned experimental metal slash post-punk. Sounds good? Get in.

Rick is looking forward to Haunt’s Beautiful Distraction:

Haunt – Beautiful Distraction

This is the band’s sixth album since their debut in 2018, and at this point I’m honestly amazed by the sheer dedication and consistency they have had since the start. The old-school formula is still the same, but the results keep getting better and better. Last year Haunt gave us not one but two little jewels and so now I’m really excited for this.

Rutger is looking forward to Noctambulist’s Noctambulist I: Elegieën:

Noctambulist – Noctambulist I: Elegieën

Another addition to the already great Dutch black metal scene. Noctambulist have touring for a few years, and this Friday and they release their first full-length album.

Sean is looking forward to Abythic’s Dominion of the Wicked:

Abythic – Dominion of the Wicked

With their third full length, Abythic set to continue ue their reign of death metal terror. This is heavy and filthy just the way death metal should be. With Dominions of the Wicked being the bands Iron Bonehead debut and hopefully they will finally get the recognition they deserve.
