Here are Metal Utopia’s most anticipated albums of the week!
Leon is looking forward to Unleashed’s No Sign of Life, and 200 Stab Wounds’ Slave to the Scalpel, and Hyperdontia’s Hideous Entity, and Haunt’s Unplugged vol. 1:
Unleashed kept it impressively consistent for more than thirty years now. Get your viking swedish death right here.
The label Maggot Stomp has been making some waves in the death metal with its brand of raw old school gore. 200 Stab Wounds was one of their hard-hitters, now out with their debut full-length.
Hyperdontia’s 2018 “Nexus of Teeth” debut was a well recieved piece of murky death metal. This seems like more of the same, but if you’re firmly in the “Incantation was the best thing to happen to death metal” camp, this is the band for you.
Big Haunt fan, so nothing much to say except this gonna be good.
Rick is looking forward to Devil Electric’s Godless:
While looking for something new to listen to this upcoming week, this heavy/doom band caught my ears. Thick, catchy riffs that aren’t slow to the point of boredom? Sign me up.
“The demo was better.”
